HI, I’m Alexandria
I'm a certified personal trainer, pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist, and fitness nutrition specialist based in Lansing, MI.
I graduated from Michigan State University in 2014 with a degree in Engineering, and it turns out that background never really left me. I've always been drawn to figuring out how things work, and once I started applying that mindset to movement, I started to love it even more. A small tweak in form, a different cue. I saw how much those tiny details changed the way an exercise actually felt and worked. That fascination is what led me to get certified as a personal trainer (2015), and it's still at the core of how I coach today: precise, detail-oriented, and always looking for the adjustment that makes movement click for you.
My "why" goes beyond mechanics. Over time, I watched both my father and grandfather lose mobility — and with it, a piece of their independence — as they got older. That changed how I think about fitness. It's not about chasing a number on a scale or a look in the mirror. It's about staying capable. It's about being able to get up off the floor, load your own groceries, keep up with your kids or grandkids, or take that hiking trip abroad without a second thought. That's the kind of strength I want to help you build. The kind you don't have to think about, because it's just there when you need it.
My passion for movement started early. I began gymnastics at 6 years old, and by 12, when a gym opened near my house, my mom and I signed up right away. I never looked back. Since then, I've spent years building the habits that changed my own relationship with fitness. I specialize in mobility and strength training with one core philosophy: all movement counts. You don't need to be perfect. You need to be consistent. The more you do it, the easier it gets- I promise.
My goal isn't just to get you through a workout. It's to help you fall in love with a strong, active, healthy lifestyle, and to help you realize just how capable you already are.
A little more about me: Ideal morning: An early wake-up with the sun, coffee (black, dark roast, please), and a book on the deck. Ideal evening: On the couch with a home-cooked meal, my husband, and our two dogs, Macaroni & Lily. Ideal travel destination: Abroad — anywhere in Asia. Nationally — anywhere with good hikes and even better IPAs.
